CDBG Funding - Grants and Loans
The Community Development Division provides project oversight in implementing CDBG-funded projects through contracts with twelve cooperating cities, non-profit agencies, and other County Departments.
The Community Development Division maintains the County's qualification to receive an annual CDBG entitlement as an Urban County. As part of this responsibility, the Community Development Division secures the participation of cooperating cities in the County's CDBG program.
The Community Development Division also prepares mid-and-annual program performance reports to demonstrate the County's ability to carry out its CDBG activities in a timely manner and in compliance with federal regulations.
