The County of San Bernardino Redevelopment Agency uses its special legal powers and financial mechanisms to eliminate blighting conditions in designated areas of the County. The results include improved economic opportunities and affordable living conditions.

The RDA was created by the Board of Supervisors in 1980 and has five redevelopment project areas: Cedar Glen Disaster Recovery Project Area, San Sevaine Project Area, Mission Boulevard Joint Project Area, and Victor Valley Economic Development Authority. The last three project areas are jointly managed by the County and other local jurisdictions. The Redevelopment Agency coordinates with other County departments and local municipalities to improve living and working conditions for local residents.
